Refuse Recovery System

The RSS is the primary equipment of ships such as Hoover Class garbage scows to collect (suck up) space debris and trash. Their underlying system is a vacuumatic containment field in conjunction with tractor beams. After collection, the refuse is moved to the scow's Quantum Garbage Compactor where it can be reduced to transport to designated dumping zones.
