Ulence Flats

Ulence Flats is a small civilization on the planet of Kerona. It is a typical example of some of the frontier settlements that sprang up in the early days of the Outer Zone exploration. There is little to do here, yet a droid shop Droids B Us, Tiny's Ship Yard (Tiny's Used Spaceships), and the Rocket Bar have been established in this remote settlement.

Ulence Flats is protected from Grell through one-way forcefields around the perimeter.

Roger Wilco first visited the settlement in Space Quest 1 after having escaped the Sarien attack on the Arcada. He briefly returned there in a Timepod from the Space Quest 10 period.

"Ulence Flats" is derived from the word "flatulence".

[edit] Plot Inconsistency

Space Quest 4 You can examine some writings on the backside wall of the Bar and the game will tell you that "you don't know what it says but you're sure it's not flattering". However, in Space Quest 1, you can also read the message, and it will say: "It appears to be Sarien. You're a little rusty in your Sarien but it appears to say: "Xenon bites!" So either Roger did know, or some time between the events of Space Quest 1 and Space Quest 4, he must have learned Sarien.
